Regular Sahar’s Blog readers already know that this post should not be up on a Wednesday; The X-Files Facebook Project posts usually only go up once a week (Fridays at 10:13 a.m. EST).

But in light of my ridiculous level of excitement at Fox’s announcement yesterday that The X-Files would be returning in a six episode event series, I decided to host a celebration of sorts. From 25 March until 4 April, at 10:13 a.m. EST, the latest entry in The X-Files Facebook Project will be posted. Following this “blitz”, reviews of my favourite episodes and round-ups of the best The X-Files books will be posted on Sahar’s Blog’s sister, Sahar’s Reviews.

The fandom has awoken. I couldn’t keep up with my Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram feeds. In fact, my Twitter client couldn’t keep up either, crashing a couple of times throughout the afternoon (reminding me, aptly enough, of the live tweeting days of the Fringe fandom). So it is only natural that the celebration will continue through collaborations with the many talented X-Philes out there.
